The Confessional

Molly, a nun-in-training, has a secret. One she must only reveal to the lord, lest she get thrown out of the nunnery. And it may or may not have something to do with the time she lost her virginity to Chiara in the pews… two days ago. After bible study. In this two person play, Molly heads to the confessional to bare her soul to the Lord, revealing, recounting, and reliving her secrets to the priest, who is not as invested in privacy as a priest guiding confession should be. Molly risks her place in the convent keeping Chiara’s identity a secret, trying to weigh what’s more important– what the church thinks is right, and what she thinks is right.
