In addition to writing plays, poetry, fiction, and music, I also have experience with content writing— specifically, writing sleep meditations.
WAVE Sleep App, August 2020–July 2021
I was part of the team of Founding Sleep Guides on the WAVE Sleep Startup App from its launch to its end, where for a whole year we made bedtime more fun. I researched, wrote, and live-streamed myself doing these sleep-centered meditations via app. I created 80+ original, 40 minute long sleep meditations set to music across 170 live-streamed sessions. I was the #3 Ranked Sleep Guide all quarters, and also had the pleasure of learning more about the science of sleep in masterclasses with Rebecca Robbins, Ph.D. In my sleep sessions, I incorporated relaxing Breathing and Visualization technique, soothing voice over artistry, and fostered a sense of community. My sleep meditations ranged from falling asleep in a hammock on a beach at sunset, to dozing off with a cup of tea after enjoying a rainy day, to falling asleep as a star shining over Venice. My meditations are heavily influenced by the vast beauty of nature, and are composed with a lyrical quality, allowing the listener to be fully entranced as they envisioned theirself in the story.
